Information and Transactions on-demand. Employees and managers now have the ability to update and gather a great deal of information from dashboards, without going to HR.Employee Self Service (ESS) will interact with other systems like Payroll, Leave Management, Learning, etc. to give employees greater access to information and then the ability to update personal information, access policies and submit documentation to HR. ESS provides access to an employee’s learning transcript throughout the employment life cycle, competency mapping and performance appraisal history, and access to payroll information and history.
As organizations grow, managing the human resources (HR) function with a strategic human resources management system (HRMS) becomes increasingly important. Recognizing there are different needs for different employers, FlexiEle offers a versatile system that can bring sophisticated processes to any size organization. The system can be installed on a client’s server, but also from FlexiEle’s server with no maintenance costs, which can save significant technological infrastructure costs. By providing the functions of Core HRMS–Organization Management, Leave Management, Attendance Management, Exit Management, Task, Self Service (ESS and MSS) and Document Management—the HR function will take its place as a leader and strategic business partner within the organization.
MSS brings critical information to a manager’s dashboard. Managers have quick access to everything from tasks to be completed, to the ability to monitor leave and attendance for team members through the workflow process. Pulling information from the Recruitment system into the dashboard, a manager can monitor a candidate’s progress then oversee a new employee’s onboarding and orientation by assigning and approving training, ensuring the appropriate learning is taking place. For those employees leaving the organization, the manager will again be able to track the exit process and ensure organizational policies are followed.
Making the leave request process efficient. The platform can be set up to offer any type of leave an organization offers, such as annual leave, sick leave, paid time off, maternity/paternity leave, sabbatical, etc., as well as creating a holiday calendar. Employees are able to submit time off requests through the system or mobile device that get routed to the appropriate person for approval. Approvers can view other leave requests within a team or department to make determinations based on staffing levels. Leave Management also keeps employees aware of their leave accruals and balances, and can increase accrual rates when employees reach milestones as determined by an organization’s policies.
Flexible options for tracking attendance. To meet the varying needs of clients, Attendance Management offers flexibility for everything from the observed payroll period that is set up to how employees record attendance.
For recording attendance, options are
Managing the workforce at home an abroad. Flexible to organizations large and small, centralized or global, HR has the ability to assign and allocate human capital and costs based on everything from geography to project assignments. For global organizations, this is a huge advantage when employees are being deployed amongst different businesses, locations, entities, etc.
Reduce paper, Increase efficiency. Increasingly, business takes place anywhere and everywhere. For many organizations that means that paper files cannot be relied upon as fast as scanned documents stored in the cloud. Managing paper is time-consuming. FlexiEle’s Document Management gives HR the ability to scan required legal documents and have the ability for authorized individuals to access them anywhere, anytime. Employees can even access many of their own documents through ESS, such as passport, visas, qualifications etc., which are often time-sensitive, and necessary for travel and other purposes.
People sometimes get immersed in their work. That is a good thing most of the time. However, Task management comes in handy as it keeps people at all levels of the organization informed about items requiring their attention. From line staff to executives, no one wants a process to be held up or an employee to miss because a routine task was not completed. This feature increases accountability since it improves documentation of when items were requested and by whom. Additional reminders can be sent for follow-up purposes, even to mobile devices.
